Knock from undercarriang upon start up...

When I start up the stang, about 1-2 sec after start up I hear a knock from the undercarrige (sort of like passenger front) if sounds just like it would if somone knocked on the underbody sheetmetal with an open fist hard.
It happens about 50% on the time sometimes the stang is in motion othertimes it is still at rest. It is always started with the tranny in neutral.

also if I am idleing in neutral at a stop, clutch out, after about 1min I start to get a vibration that starts, stops waits 1 min then starts again after about 30 seconds. It seems to come from the exhaust vibrations

I'd love to take it to the dealer but there are a bunch of tools, so I'd like to diagnose the problem myself and show them exactly what is wrong or else they always just return the mustang to me saying "problem could not be reproduced" I'm probably going to end up going to the stealer 1hr away and get this junk fixed.

do a search on here, someone recently posted on here the same prob. and that it is the a/c condenser bottle banging against the firewall. they fixed it with a simple piece of foam/rubber.

I had the same problem took it ford and found that bolts under the car were backing put. Some in the k member and the a arms etc.After that no more knocks and pops.
