I had the ceramic coated BBK's and they were great, also got the matching BBK xpipe...If I remember correctly the BBK xpipe was just as good as any (even DR. gas) and you know it will definitely work. If you need a place to get them, let me know and i'll get you a price.

ya dude. U'll need new mid pipe. If your going with Mac, be certain to pay extra for ceramic coated LT's. You'll be grad you did when you hear other people complain about how quick normal Mac LT rust up....

Oh and mac LT and Prochamber ......

I would like to hear a prochameber on a modular stang, I had longtubes and a prochamer, with dynomax ultrafows on my 95 and it was very quiet sounded stock. With the o-r pipe I did have it was great but the prochamer muffled it completely.

I heard it at Carlisle last year. It wasn't the loudest(which I still don't see why everyone wants loudest car in the block), but had nice mellow rumble at the idle, but screamed at high RPM, but it was different then say my set up. It was funky cool sound

IS BBK coated? Was Mac coated? I'm sure that BBK weren't coated, and Mac was...

One BBK was coated, one not, both rusted just as quick. My Mac's are not coated. This is just my opinion. Both seem like good headers, I dont like the bend in BBks for the steering shaft. Other than that, most headers are gonna look like **** at some point. So its really just personal preference and what fits good.

I find that hard to believe. My BBK are coated, and there is not a spec of rust on it since I've installed them on my car. Friend of mine have BBK mid on his LT-1 for about 3 years now, and it look about same as way mine was when I first got it. Where as Some Mac I have seen in the past, their THT coateing frake off after few drive, and rust is evenly cover up header, you'd swear it was submerged in seawater for 3 month...

Like I said, I have the regular ole Mac's and mine have been on since last summer or before and they look like they did when I put them on. With occasional trips in the rain. I'm sure they wont look like this forever but for 350 bucks compare to BBK's 500 coated headers I make just as much power and they fit great.

Mac = Poor quality in IMHO, will not stand the test of time. You get what you pay for

I have bbk ceramic coated L/T's, bbk catted H and Manaflow cat back. I bought the LT's used with 8k miles on them, i have had them on the car for a year and they still look brand new.

the bump in the steering shaft on the BBK are for clearance and do not affect air flow inside the tube...if you dont believe me run a pipe cleaner in there and see if you feel any bumps...you wont
