That's a good idea, but I'm in Texas and my shop is really scetchy about doing anything w/ off road exhaust set-ups. So I usualy bolt everything up myself and have them tighten it up.
But.... l.t.'s from what I've read are a P.I.T.A to do in the garage.

here in houston, any halfway decent exhaust shop won't even put a newer car on the rack if it has o/r exhaust...sucks man, it took me 2 weeks to find a place to weld my o/r h-pipe together on my 5.0 and he did it after hours because he's had state troopers inspect cars on the racks. i'm not sure how true that is but he was serious. good luck
Just buy a new pipe and find someone who will help you out. Save you about 600 bucks labor, but if not, then you better get ready to pay for a cat pipe, cause they arent cheap.
Preciate the responses, Zinc I haven't heard any "great" comments on mac headders but at the same time, I haven't heard any bad ones either.
P speed, I've been doing bus. w/ my muffler shop for about 6 years & even though I know them pretty well they still wont touch it.
Screw cats, I'd rather spend 6 hours insted of 6 bills.
