I was looking at these diablo and superchips and hypertech programmers... I was wondering... Is there something i can put on a laptop and plug it into the OBD2??? Perhaps still be able to change for gear ratios and tire sizes and all that also... I saw these autotap things... But I think they are just for error codes and helping to figure them out... http://www.autotap.com/autotap_for_windows.html

Thats for the auto tap just tog et you all an idea... Any help appreciated...

I have one that monitors my 2 stage nitrous setup and makes sure theres no danger to my manifold and/or floor boards.

But seriously, the only one I've heard of is auto tap. Goodluck, it would be pretty cool.

how u get it to monitor that... I am going with a turbo setup... I saw a guy was posting pics of his Wideband O2 sensor thing... Which you could adjust air and fuel ratio... I guess the only thing I can do is go with a little programmer... Sucks... I would like a stand alone management system it would be so sweet for adjusting and so forth... Complete control... And know what your motor is doing at all times...

The new MMFF has an article on the new SCT chips and software packages. From what I read when I glanced at it, you can monitor monitor and adjust your engine with a laptop in the car. You may want to look into this either on the SCT site or in the new MMFF.

i have EFI solutions software. it comes with a box that connects a laptop to the OBD2 port. i can edit anything in the PCM. so far tho, the customer support has been less than stellar.

SCT Pro racers package is your best bet. it will also let you edit anything.

SCT Pro Racers Package - the ace in the hole with them is their awesome support. Check it out at www.modulardepot.com and also check their forums, which includes a separate SCT Support Center forum. There is a FAQ section and a pre-order section that will pretty much answer most questions, then, when you buy the software, you get access to another SCT Technical Support forum.
