The original La Rocca's closed shop, but shop is under new ownership-but the new owner's service-i heard sucks.
Crazy Horse is still in South Amboy. There is always Big Daddy Dwayne Guthridge's shop-I think in lakewood or somehting liek that. There is also Travis @ DeFeo FORD in Jersey City which i believe is SVT certified and works with kevin from Wicked motorsports. All the terminator guys go to him, heard he is good, honest and does good work. There is aslo Matt Hill Motorsports down near atlantic city and if you want to trek to Long island-there is Joe @ Mustang Magic.

Try Craig Radovich at Radical Racing in Atco, NJ, less than a mile from Atco Raceway. Great tuner, does great work, and is a super nice guy.

kevin and difeo ford know what they're doing and kevin is arguably one of the best tuners on the east coast.. all you need to do is go to Kevin's shop and you'll know why he's so respected in the fox body world... seriously. he's in Brick, though.. a bit of a trek for us central jersey guys.. but his number is 732 904 9000... he is extremely honest and is truly a genius with what he does.

Can I ask why you say to stay away from Radical Racing?

Valley Performance in Belleville is real good. Alfredo Belotta was a Ford Tech and is an honest guy. Highly recommend him.

Yes, please tell us why we should stay away from Radical Racing; I just had my car there for the first time and would like to hear any horror stories so I know whether or not I need to look for a different shop.

long story short, he had my car for a MONTH for a blower install and tune, charged plenty, did not do a clean install, and worst of all the tune had driveability and detonation issues which he could not fix. quote - "you're making too much power because it's cold outside and that's why it's pinging." what?! I had to take my car to another shop to re-do EVERYTHING.
