Anyone using this kit?

79-04 AXLE BEARING AND SEAL MUSTANG

Seems cheap when you compare to parts store prices.

Local stores want $25+ each for the bearings and seals. $100 easy vs $25 for two of these kits. How is the quality of them?

Hell, for the price I'd go ahead and buy them anyway. LRS typically only deals with quality vendors and I'm sure they'd tell you who manufactured them with a phone call.

If you can rear the part #'s off your current bearings or know the dimensions you can search Auto Parts Fast at RockAuto for the bearings, races and seals. I have a Jaguar IRS in my '26 which recently needed new bearings and it cost me $110.09 which is honestly a great deal considering kits go for $52 and some change without the races and you need to buy one for each side.

I have searched around.

2 bearings, 2 seals come out to about $100 through rock auto or parts stores.

$100...vs $25 for the LRS stuff.

Eh, if they leak, not a big deal to dig into it again and replace them.
