The balance of the flywheel must match the engine. If you have a 28oz in the car now you must stay with a 28. If you need the 50 oz to match up with the clutch you are using, you can have it rebalanced to 28 oz by a GOOD machine shop.ljf0021 said:two questions though? How do you know which flywheel to use 28oz or 50 oz and number of teeth ? And if I want to keep the t-5 bellhousing to use a clutch cable what clutch do I use?
RIGHT! The crank, flywheel, and harmonic balancer all have to be on the same page. Either 28 or 50 or even (0) will work just make sure you don't mix-and-match.John Z said:The balance of the flywheel must match the engine. If you have a 28oz in the car now you must stay with a 28.
