Latest project

This is my latest accomplishment, hope the photo attached. I have extended the grill section on my 78 using a 74 grill shell and lots of fiberglass work. Also, the hoodscoop is built from scratch with fiberglass. I am currently working on a grill insert that incorporates the corral and light bars of a 65, kinda. I will post pics of it when I finish.

Thanks for the input. The design of the hoodscoop is from a 67 Shelby. I actually bought one of the bond on scoops for the 67, but it was much too flat and long to be grafted easily. I began the scoop by carving it from foam like they put flower arrangements in and then began laying fiberglass cloth over it until it was sturdy. Then I used the heavy matt on the back side to give it strength. Lengthy project, but I like the result. By the way, if anyone tries this make sure you put packing tape over the foam as the resin will eat it.
