Lauching and shifting 96-98 cobra

What rpm do you 96-98 cobra guys launch from??? Im running Nitto drag radials and Im spinning pretty good lauching from 3500rpms but dont wanna bog it by lowering the rpms....should i heat them up more.... im running like 17psi at the track. Also i was shifting at 5800rpms but one guy told me he shifts at 6500rpm...what do you guys think....also im running a 98 cobra with vortech supercharger 10lbs of boost 12.6 at 115 trying to get 11's with slicks and better 0-60fts.....let me know whats up with you guys

you DO need to heat up the nittos, and be prepared for some wheel hop till your used to drivin em when they stick.......

shift that thing MUCH higher, i shift at 5500 on my 2v, the 4v doesnt top out till 6800 so shifting af about 6250-6500 is perfect.......

I usually heat them up a lil probably just until they start to smoke and then stop. My 60 ft times are 2.2s and im wanting anything under 2.0
I will up my shift point to around the 6200-6500 zone.....Come on where are you 4V guys when I need your advice....??? Anyone got slicks ??? Will slicks on a stock 98 cobra rear/drivetrain hurt anything??? I wanna get some ET streets mounted on some weld xp's..if any of you have these on your car I'd love to see pics.thanks
