LC-1 Wiring Plan..thoughts?

Here is my plan. I think i have it all squared away but i would be thankful for any input. I'm going to use to LC-1s to emulate narrowband and run the info to a Dataq and tweecer

Power -> From the original O2 harness (Grey/Yellow)
Analog to ECU -> Original wire from o2 harness (Red/Black & Grey/Lt Blue)
Analog Ground -> Pin 26 (Ground reference for sensors)

My question now are where to run the system ground and the heater ground. Can i run the system ground to pin 26 as well? Where does the EEC actually ground to, as in, where exactly is the bolt that it goes to? I know the heater ground has to be within a certain voltage range of the system ground. If the grounds have to be within a certain range im leaning away from using the ground wire in the o2 sensor harness. Any thoughts?

Thats what im going to do. I have a PLX-300 going in with my 347. But make sure you let us know how it works out because if it works good i might consider doing this myself. Also using a DataQ hook up for you wide band is that like an empty wire in the wireing harness? I want to be able to data log my wideband but i dont want to wire it to my EGR because i need my EGR for smog. keep us posted.
 
Why have 4 sensors floating around when only 2 are going to be used if i dont need to? :D

WhiteDevil, go to www.dataq.com. The DI-194RS (~$30) is what you run your wideband analog to. You only need one of these if you want to run your wideband to you Tweecer without using the EGR. Dataq can log any parameters you want that put out a standard voltage signal. Dataq is the only way to interface your wideband to your tweecer without going through EGR. Hopefully it should all work flawlessly :rolleyes:
 
your going to run a wideband on each bank? i can see your point of wanting to just keep it more simple but thats a lot of wiring and i wouldnt want to send too much voltage to the wrong wire and fry something
 
Some say it is best to keep stock oem system undisturbed :shrug:

It goes without saying, that method requires bung or bungs installation, if you wish to collect data from either side to be installed.

You can do the egr or data Q thing.

I did the egr, bung on each LT collector method for the most options.

I got my egr pcm input on a switch for easy either or selection :D

I based alot of my thought off postings from those forums, though im not sure they guy on the first one understood the wiring. I guess i just need to know where exactly the EEC grounds to and i can run wires to that area. Anyone know where that is or do i need to start tracing wires? :notnice:
