Leak issue

Good morning,

bought a 1993 5.0 coupe Monday. Have a small leak in front of driveshaft, behind transmission(5 speed manuel). Is this from a seal? What is the seal called so can get new one? Thanks.

tail shaft seal and/or bushing. if you replace the seal and it still leaks you will need to replace the bushing.

replacing the seal is easy. pop it out and tap the new one in. replacing the bushing is a little more involved.
