Leaking substance...mixture of oil?

This is a non mustang question, but the nissan site sucks. I am leaking some oil from some where. There is oil all over the alternator, and mostly on top of the motor. I am assuming it's the valve cover gasket. Would a head gasket spash like this? I put all new oil in the car, started it up and see nothing wrong or leaks. I bought the car like this.
