Can't stand louvres...sides or front. Never was a fan., Dislike dressing a 4cyl and badging it as an 8, fake dual pipes, Dual pipes on a 6 cylinder, "TUNER TAILS" aka fast and furious rear wings/spoilers, larger than 18" diameter wheels, EURO STYLE LENSES (just plain ugly) and adhesive chrome body effects..
It's all been stated but my worst "mods" are: Air filter on Maf housing in the engine bay (guilty of that myself back in the day), under drives on ANY car, idiot wiring jobs, and the ultimate is the GT bumpers cut (with a dull beaver lolz) for lx tail pipes.
My worst learning mistakes are from listening to friends and believing i really was getting 10hp from my cold air and 20 from this or that and now have a stock lx with 300hp. Oh to be young and dumb again.
Have any of you ever gone back and re read some of your old post on this or other forums? Makes a guy want to crawl under a table and hide lol. I guess that's how we all learn and gain knowledge.

3.73's/4.10's on a 200 hp car. Motor wound up and the car barely moving. Especially if paying labor is involved. $600 to go from a 14.8 to a 14.5 1/4 mile, is that money well spent? There's not much left to race these days to where a tenth knocked off of a 14 some odd 1/4 to matter. Even if one ran a 14.0 they'd still have their hands full w a new v6 sedan.
I guess the same could be said about all bolt-ons without a set of heads or a power adder. $1k+ on bolt-ons and still can't out run anything except a 99 Camry.

Watch out for the KIA Optima turbo...I know a guy making decent power with a few bolt ons I installed for him.
Its crazy when his boost builds and it roasts 2nd and 3rd from a roll.
225hp isn't what it used to be.
Back to most hated mods ...Obnoxiously loud exhaust on a stock car...its gonna get your butt beat by a KIA or a Hyundai.
Big fat exhaust pipe sticking out the side of a jacked up truck puking out black smoke into my window and bellowing obnoxious noise because they took the muffler off and chipped it up and think it's cool to blow your train horn next to me.
Now that said, I know that a couple on here have trucks that have mods similar to that but I know they have some class and don't do that. And if you do it to a ricer with a fart pipe and no springs all is forgiven.

Exactly. My '12 maxima would've eaten my old fox alive on the highway or off the line. I took the maxima down the 1/8 once. It ran a 9 some odd at 70 some odd mph and I even had the kiddos car seat still in the back. When my '95 was rebuilt and slow w 3.73 gears the maxima would've smoked it too, and long-tubes, etc wouldn't have made a difference. Go for the throat and add 100 hp or leave it stock. Nothing worse than being Slow n Loud.
