Leather seat repair, anyone had this done?

im looking at a set of 03 mach 1 seats. they have some wear on the bolsters from sliding in and out. i know its very common with these seats.

it has the usual wrinkles in the leather, but more-so it has a hole. do most people just repack them with foam and sew it up or what? any thoughts here?

My sister just had her M3's driver's seat fixed. I sent her to Les at Convertible's Only in Seattle. He's done a bunch of work for me over the years. He sewed in a new panel of matching leather and you can't tell anything has ever been done.
