Left brake light wont work!

I just replaced my stop lamp switch hoping it would fix my problem but it didnt. my running lights, turn signals and right stop light all work but not my left y is that? i even replaced the bulbs.

Turn signal switch huh?

soo that could be the reason that only my left brake light isnt turning on even though the turn signals both work?

Yes

One wire bring the power into the turn signal switch from the brake switch.

When they turn signal switch is in the nuetral position, they are tied together, When you signal left, power through the flasher sends power to the left rear lamp and when braking, brake switch power will still be routed to the right lamp.

Visa versa for right turn position.

Before you go throwing money at it, I would check the voltage AFTER the turn signal switch to make sure the problem isn't down the line.

The turn signal works, so in effect, it IS getting checked down the line.

The power for the signal and the brake come out on the same wire.

I had the same issue not that long ago a quick way to check is put the brakes on and fiddle with the turn signal arm if they both come on that is your problem. The arm on mine was actually going down too far due to weight over the years and canceling it out and thus I only had one brake light. I just moved the arm up a little and they both came on. I just replaced the switch and it was good to go.
