Length of Resto time?

I didnt mean to derail it this much... I was simply stating the facts and I was SUPPOSED to be done... and didnt really make it. I am still very hopeful that the end of the year will be my goal... that way the AC wont matter till next spring after I worked out all the little bugs, etc.

my appologies...

Now see, up till then I was in complete agreement, but now I must differ.

For me it is about the destination, the final product. But I do enjoy the process. If it were all about the journey, I would never finish anything....

Like cooking a great meal, It is all about the final product, but if you don't dip a spoon in the sauce along the way, enjoy the smells and textures, you are not partaking in the entire experience.

I place small goals on myself. Like labor day weekend. We decided to we wanted to complete the floor boards and seat pans. A nice goal, but attainable and once completed. A great sense of satisfaction. Something we look forward to as we look at the next piece of the project.

Ahhh....My youthful Padawan, you still have much to learn.:nono:
See, for once you have reached the destination, the journey has ended and a NEW journey must begin, otherwise you will sit and waste away your time!
Once you cook and eat your meal, it is DONE! To obtain the same sense ofsatisfaction and enjoyment, you must begin preparation of another meal. Thus it is always a continuing journey.:hail2:

What???

You dont carry around parts of your meal for days, weeks and years???

I have some on my shirt, some on my shoes, and a life time on my waist....

All that said, I do enjoy the process, but if I do not have specefic goals in mind, even small ones along the way, I will never get anything done at all.
