What is your reason for choosing a Mustang over GM or a Import? Mine is TOURQE (love the sound), Mustang always kept true to the ol school design unlike the maro and the bird. For example the 98 and up maro looks like a Chrysler Concorde in the front . Plus my dad loves mustang so like father like son whats your reason?????

i couldnt see the dash in the newer GMs at certain times. i did like the bigger engine, but didnt like how it was like hidden at the back. and no import bc i didnt want a tiny car with no acceleration and my parents didnt want me to have one like that either. plus its a ****ing MUSTANG! so much cooler name than camaro or firebird.

Drove many Camaros even owned one but love the mustangs. Shorter front end easier to see out windshield, better sound depending on car and model and preference. Easier to control and much better read end. I could go on and on about it. Mainly I love the interior of the SN-95's. Last but not least I live in a place where there are mustangs everywhere you look the town is overpopulated with mustangs. The heritage of mustangs drivers around here is big.

There are a lot of reasons why for me...
main reason: I wanted a 94-98 GT Convertible.
Those are my absolute favourite styled cars.

Granted the speed, the fun, the price was all there... cheap to repair, cheapER on insurance... etc, all that helped.
I was actually going to get a 99 Eclipse GSX before i found my vert...

No stickers, just clean - style and sophistication.
but i figured, ****, i'm 22, do what you want with your money
and i wanted a convertible...

And not much sounds nicer than a mustang...
no ricer anyway.

I couldn't find a Grand National in the kind of condition I wanted for under 8 grand.

Plus... have you seen Gone in 60 Seconds? Seems like every time I'm in a movie or just out on the town and a nice older car drives by, I look close and its a 60's mustang. The lines are absolutely classic and IMO will never be outdated.

For me it's price, quality, and reliability that makes the mustang the better fit. While imports have good reliabilty (for the most part), they lack in EVERY other department.

I've always been a ford man since my dad is, and he bought me a 95 V6 mustang when i got my lisence, and i sold it and bought my 94 GT. The cars are reliable, cheap, cheap to fix, tons of aftermarket. Tuners just suck , nobody likes them. The only bad thing is that around here EVERYONE has a mustang, they're all riced V6's but i still love mustangs no matter if everyone in the world has one.

when I was looking to buy before I got my 94, I ran into a "sale" at at dealership and they had a 96 white cobra and a 96 t-top T/A for the same price, I was going to buy the cobra but when we went into to get the keys (after I already was approved for the loan and had a quote on my trade in) for a test drive we found out it was sold , then I looked at the T/A and I didnt even want to take it out of the lot, the seats looked thin and cheap, dash was a football field in length and depth, ratteled even before I started it up..... I just left and decided to wait/hold out for a 94-95 5spd GT or cobra took 3mo of looking to find one that met just those 3 items looking over STL area/ southern Ill, west Kent., and west Tenn.

Well first off I wanted to keep the car in the family it was my grandpas and he bought it brand new. He lost his license a couple years ago and I couldnt let him sell it to a stranger. Plus my brother had a mustang and I saw how well his responded to just a few minor mods. I dont understang the mechanics of those import engines (never cared to learn) and the GM cars leave absolutely no room to work under the hood. And there is just nothing like a mustang. Greatest car in the history of automobiles. Hands down.

Double duty car

I wanted a car that I could drive to work everyday and drag race in the summer. Didn't care for the GM offerings and didn't want another import. So, I looked into the '79-'02 Mustangs and decided that I liked the 94-98 'SN95' body style the best. I picked the 94-95 because it had the 5.0

I have been a Ford guy for several years now. I just like the look, sound, price, and availibility of aftermarket parts that a Mustang has.

Last summer I wrecked my camaro. I spent 3 years and dropped around 13 grand in it, and got hardly anything out of it. Anyway, the reason I choose my mustang as opposed to another camaro or trans am was that I already been there and done that. It's kind of hard to go back to the drawing board once you put so much time in a car for 3 years. There are a lot of other things I like about Ford as well.

1. As mentioned before, nothing on the road beats the sound of a Mustang

2. Because of the high torque our cars have they respond to mods very well.

3. Parts for the 5.0 are so abundant and inexpensive that I can go down the street a few miles away with some cash in my hand and come back with all kinds of mods people are selling around the local spot.

4. I personally think that after driving in both cars and looking at both interiors the Mustang's interior makes chevy's look really cheap. I love how everything is tightly knit together.

5. I could find a better deal on a Mustang GT then another SS or Transam that had high mileage on them for the same price.
