Lets play "Name the Part"

As you know, i have been havin shifter troubles. Well i took the shifter off and found out that the little plastic bushing type piece that fits in the tranny where the shifter goes into is busted. I need a new one. Can someone please tell me what it is called and/or where i may be able to order it from. thanx in advance

Less than $5 at the dealer.

Don't know the technical term, though. Just go & explain it to them the same way you did here & they can hook you up.

that would be the shifter bushing.

or some call it the manual linkage lower slot control slip ring bearing dampener retainer

Ben, just out of curiosity, how did you navigate to that part? I took a look on LRS and couldn't seem top find it.

FWIW, when I was at the dealer, that particular guy called it a shift rod cup, as I recall.

I gave up on describing it and had him pull up the Fische (sp?) and showed him what part it was.

ok i have another one. Do you know the disc brake anti-rattle spring that is in the front calipers. Where can i order one off the net. I couldnt find it on lrs.
