They tried to simplify the IMG issues but bringing up that window but it's flubbed up the last couple days. It'll probably be fixed soon. Could have something to do with the increase in upload size maybe?

88PosLX i like the look with no caps. Are your rims polished or painted? Or just the stock clearcoat?

In the first pic, the fronts are polished. All the other rims shown are just factory.

I dont get why people rag on 10 holes so much Sure they aren't the prettiest wheel out there but they're decent for a stock wheel. easy to keep clean too.

Rims are aluminum and get polished like any other aluminum piece. My tire sizes are 245/60's on the back and 165/15's on the front. Those polished rims have also been narrowed to 15X5", allowing me to run the skinny front runners.

No, I stripped them first. Then started at 80 grit and worked up to 800 grit. Then used tripoli and white rouge.

What about the center cap? Can that be polished as well? I hope I dont seem stupid here but I take it the tires have to be removed first to get around the bead?

My wife's little '89LX with her studded snows on- looks better with the V-rated Yoko's but they don't look bad anyway. She wants Cobra R's, but like ya'll said- speed 1st. Trained her good...

Hey those look pretty sweet. I'm planning on the same thing this spring so it's cool to get an idea of what they'll look like. I was curious about polishing the entire rim except for the lug area where the center cap would be, but i like how yours are painted. I'm thinking about having mine widened about 2 inches in the back so i can run some nice wide DRs, and have them powerdercoated black in the parts that will stay unpolished. Everyone has an opinion on stock wheels but i think if they were the right size and on the right car they'll look sweet.

It's too bad someone hasnt make a 16 or 17 look alike for these....i'm sure there isnt a market for'em, but it would rock to have a stock look that's a little bigger

Yeah, like the 17x8" poney wheels from MavroMont. Stock look, only better. About the caps- there are quite a few around here that have the caps painted satin black or the body color. It really seems to dress them up.

The black wheels are like SSP wheels. Is your car an SSP? If you take those wheels and polish the lip, you'd have yourself some sweet wheels.

Not a SSP car, just some 10 holes that weren't as abused as the ones that came on the car that I painted up I was planning on polishing the lip but by the time I got done stripping the clearcoat off 4 times I was ready to just have it done
