lets see what you guys think *HELP*

alright so i have a 95 gt... in the city i usually drive w/ my OD off and onthe highway obviously i turn it on... im rather n00b to motor work, i just know how to spend the money heres my question... whether the od is on/off, when i get into it, usually @ nite when my headlights/ac is on, around 3k rpms, all my lights get wicked bright and then the battery light comes on and the needles flat line but then come right back up and act normal.... if im not mistaken i THINK i heard my alternator screamin when i got into it, sorta sounded like i had a turbo under the hood....


think this is the battery or the alternator? if its the alternator, any suggestions as to which one to go with? i dont run much as far as music, atleast not yet... and i just recently changed my headlights to silverstars but i dont think thatll matter... any help would greatly b appreciated guys, thanks in advance
