Let's See Your Nashville Pics

I was staying at the Holiday Inn in Lebanon but I was also with some freinds who were at the Sleep in about 6 miles west of there. The red decals were an option instead of gold. If you know the owners of the cars in the pics, let me know by picture number so I can add it. I didn't get everyones name, but pnyxpress did a video of everyone with their car giving some details.

NICE car Mike. I have a 1977 that was sold towards the end of the year and was done with the 78 stripes like yours in red. I had the car painted many years ago and it it is currently solid black. I want to get it redone but have not found the correct stripes in red. Do you know where I might find some? Also, I have a favor to ask. Do you have any profile shots of the side of your car? I nice big hi rez picture would be great. I want to use Photoshop and play with different colors for the Tri-Cobra stripes. I was thinking of tri color blues on black. It would definately be different. If I had the right shades, it could look factory. Tri-metallic greens might be nice to try as well. I may have to paint them on if I can't find stripes, so I may as well get creative with the colors if the paint can is opened! :nice:

90lx, send me a reminder at [email protected] and I'll take some side shots and send them to you. The decals are very hard to find, and usually expensive if you do find them. I have 1 original kit that is minus the L fender and L door that I am using as a template to see if they can be reproduced. I have a freing in the decal bussiness that did the layout and an estimate to get things going. The initial cost is about 6k to make the silk screen templates, but after that, the cost is reasonable to produce them in any color combo requested. I'm just trying to get some input on how to get enough initial orders/comittments to help cover the setup and make the cost reasonable. I've seen some nicely painted graphics, but I like the look of the factory decals. I'm open for suggestions on how to get this started. Mike

Ahh yes, that's a nice car also. I didn't realize it was a 78. I thought it was an earlier model with KC spats and spoliers. It was a great show with lot's of nice II's. Here's one we saw in the parking lot when we arrived on Friday.

yeah thats my baby. It is a 78 but i liked the 76-77 stripe setup better, seein all those ii's gave me the itch to build another now, jsut what i need, a sixth car! you said there was a white cobra with big meats on tv? was it mine? the only one i seen with bigger rear tires was the pro street...
