More than you can afford, Pal. '82 Corolla!

Nothing to brag about but back in high school it got me and my buddies where we were trying to go. lol This picture was taken sometime around 1990 I'm guessing. By then I already had the 85GT and the 'Yota had been handed down to my sister. Needless to say, after driving this car for a few years, the Mustang felt like a top fuel dragster.

Just another view. I saw this car recently and had to take a pic. Ah, the memories.

196? jeep 4spd at age 10. Thats what I learned stick on. (dad got it for me)

1991 jetta 5spd.first car I drove on public roads. At age 14.

1998 ford escort zx2 5spd. fun car to drive at the time age 16.
Thats the ex girlfriend driving. I taught her stick. I also taught the future ex how to drive stick, as well as the future gf.

1994 ford probe gt 5spd. Never even started it lol. Had a broken camshaft, pulled the motor and was gonna put a new one in, but Im too lazy. btw: these cars have the MOST wires I have ever seen in an engine bay. I think thats part of the reason I gave up lol. age 17

best pic I have.

1991 ford festiva 5spd still have it, drive it and love it. (first car with lisense.) age 18

1987 mustang notch 4cyl/auto. This car explains the: too much time, not enough money- Too much money and not enough time: theory. Shouldnt have sold it though age 18.

1988 mustang notch original 5.0/5spd. I wanted a notchback to drive for the summer RIGHT AWAY. So I found this. Bought it. Dont want it. Its for sale if anyone is interested. age 19.

RedFoxGT: I find it very strange that your dad would call a 79 Porsche too much for a new driver but a 5.0 Mustang isnt?? The 5.0 is far more dangerous in the hands of a new driver. Front engine/rear drive/300lbs of torque and poor weight bias = roundy round in circles with ease. The Porsche is far easier to handle in that sense. Maybe he didnt want you in an older, finicky car for reliability concerns?
