Let's see your tool box...that you use use to work on the stang

I dont have a tool box, I just have a workbench, with a bunch of tools everywhere, heres mine.

Just have my wrenches, sockets, torque wrench, screw drivers, pliers, and a few nifty other little tools and stuff that comes in handy laying around on another bench.

When I get alittle older ill invest in a nice toolbox and some nice tools, but right now ill spend the 300 bucks on car parts, id really LOVE to have a toobox all set up and stuff, I look foward to it, I hate using a tool putting it down and never finding it again, nothing pisses me off more :bang:

My dad has a little welder, i wanna use that and see if I cant learn to get pretty handy with it.

I got a sh--it load of tool's and my tool box is full (way too small) so I wanted to see some pics cause I am looking at buying a nice new tool box.....

oh haha true, sorry i wasent any help, id like to see some too as I am in somewhat the same boat as you.

I will probly have the new big box at home and take my old one to work and just have the main tools there.....I have a problem buying tools when they come on sale even if I already have the same set. I got like 4 32pc sets of the same wrenches lol

Hence,is that an older set you got?

I hope your tools are alright,I have broken a few Craftsmen pieces lately that shouldnt have broke (most recently a DA sander that the on/off does work after just 1 hour :nonono: ,but the other stuff has been wrenchs).

I wish I had a picture of mine...

I'm 5'10 and the thing is taller than me. Its a Matco Gator Nationals edition. The top lid/display area has a Firebird Formula mural on it... :D

Don't hate.. it used to match the bird that got kicked out when the fox came to the territory.

I have a lil corner in my room that is tile and it has a red craftsmen, I also have a bench and stuff, I love living in the basement:D

Up in the garage is a mess, we have a work bench similar to mobs with benchgrinder and ever misc. tool you can think of, then the compressor on the ground next to a quite large craftsmen tool box.

Here's mine, the photo quality isn't that good. Most of the American size wrenches are Snap-On, while the metric stuff is Craftsman.

Well, this is about 80% of my tools, anyway - not pictured are my few ghetto power tools, jacks, and ramps in the closet to the left. Everything on the top of my "bench" - actually an old dresser turned on its side - and primarily in that lil' black tool box that weighs a good 70 lbs., that's my own little gathering of tidbits I've been adding to since I was 18. Oh, and the two rolls of Cummins Tools combo wrenches I scored a few years back solely for the purpose of working on my first '89 notch.

The "garage" that I keep all of this crap is actually the spare bedroom, which is so friggin' tiny that a twin-sized bed probably won't even fit in it. One of these days, I'd like to at least have a storage shed outside so I don't have to keep running in/out of the house for everything when I go to work on stuff, but I'm paranoid of someone breaking into it and raiding my stash of goodies. I REALLY miss having an actual garage from back when I lived in Kansas City, MO - 10 degrees outside at 3am, yet I'm able to fart around with exhaust projects n' stuff, all nice n' cozy in a heated, enclosed area with all my stuff within easy reach and an old radio blasting Manowar. :)

I sort of inherited my tools from a friend's mom....it's a great story..

His father died when he was very young and that man was a mechanic. Well, the son never cared about tools, and one day later in life his mother went bankrupt and had to get rid of all her stuff, so i was given whatever i wanted out of the tool shed. I got this old rusty/beat up tool box full of rusted up sockets...at the time i was all about BMX and needed whatever tools i could get.

Well, i soon realised that the late father was a smart man and he spent his tool money on Craftsman tools....as all the sockets and wrenches and ratches were Craftsman. So...off to Sears i went!!

The old guy at the counter threw a fit but he replaced every single tool in the box. So i've got one tool box with about 4 socket strips full of sockets, a few necessary wrenches and ratches, pliars and stuff like that, and it all lives in the trunk of my coupe.

There's nothing like 1) having all your tools with you when you break down, and 2) smoking a stupid ricer on cruise night and then showing him that i have a 75lb tool box, floor jack, 2 jack stands and various other junk in my trunk while i did it..lol.
