Pedal feel is just fine, just a tad stiffer than the average OEM clutch. The biggest difference you'll feel is if you throw on a fresh FORD cable at the same time - the one we put in Frankenstang's Capri is as smooth as buttah.

That is EXACTLY what I did when I put on my King Cobra...very smooth engagement and it just felt right.

I got the $40 dollar piece from www.buyfordracing.com and it has served me well....

Joe probably has more sound advice than I, but in my sig., in the write-up it has rear main removal and installation....

Yeah, there are three holes that the dowel pins go in. There is only 3 holes that have a 'stop' down in the hole. Take a look at the flywheel when you get it off and you will see 3 holes the same distance from each other in a triangle form. They have 'stops' half way down the hole and the other holes do not. You can use a small hammer and tap them into the stops...

The dowel pins are to align the pressure plate over the flywheel...

Good Luck

Edit: I had a stock clutch and a King Cobra, I would venture to say it is 20-25% stiffer, but my memory may be incorrect...if anyone else has more recently, post up...but the King Cobra is very 'stop and go'able"

Thanks for the reply.
I actually printed out the instructions in your sig for my head/intake install.
I didn't read it all yet so I must have missed the part detailing the rear seal install.

the maximum motorsports fwa is pretty much wortheless junk. No locking ring, no way to lock it at all.

go with the fiore fwa, best unit around. It's offered again. I believe you can get it at lethalperformance.com

the centerforce dual friction is a FANTASTIC clutch, but unless you're putting out over 300 horse, it's extra money un necessarily spent.
