alright guys im in need of a clutch for the beast. I am looking into spec stage 2 or a fidanza clutch. any other suggestions? I will probably have about upper 500 torque going through it eventually so i dont want to have something that wont hold that but then i dont want too much over kill or a super heavy pedal effort either.

i have some good sizes plans for the car so let me know what you guys think. i am also getting an aluminum flywheel to go along with it too.

I've got a Spec aluminum flywheel you can buy, check the sig.

I went with a Hays clutch, as its supposed to hold some high hp. It's a great clutch. It used to be very stiff, but the more the car has been driven, it gets soft like factory. I wouldn't recommend Spec as most people have mixed reactions. I think you will need a stg 3 Spec to hold 500 ft lbs of torque, but those have a heavy pedal feel.

I'm located at Harrisonburg, VA at JMU.

Yes it will fit your car since you have a 6 bolt crankshaft, as all Romeo engines do. I'm not trying to bs you, but this was one hell of a gain on my car. The reason I'm selling it is because it doesn't fit my car. Spec's website and Sullivan HP said my 2000 needed a 6 bolt when it really needed the 8 bolt. It's brand new, still sealed in original packaging. Let me know if you want it.

I have a centerforce DF as well and I love it. It's a little harder than stock, but I don't even notice it. You can slip it easily and it grabs tightly. I recommend.

I've never had a Centerforce DF, but when I was looking for a clutch, I was told it was not recommended for high rpm.

I have a Fidanza aluminum flywheel along with the Fidanza 2.1 clutch. It's been in the car for a while now and I've been very happy with the combo.
