Lets talk short blocks? Dont know really much about it..

OK guys I just finished up my pI head swap on my 98 Gt and now its time to start saving for a short block assembly or just a rotating assembly. I am looking at a budget of around $1500 for this so alittle help from you guys will be appreciated. Ok i plan on putting this baby on the bottle so I need a short block rotating assembly that will be capable of handling 500-550 flywheel horsepower safely. That is all that i will ever push on this car because I will kill myself with anymore power. So guys help me out here and point me in the right direction. I would prefer a short block but will settle for a rotating assembly. Thanks guys

the headswap isnt quite completed because a spark plug blew out of the motor and took the threads with it lol...but I have been considering going with a 5.4 mod motor but Im not real sure I just want something that i can pound on here and there and take some abuse.

I was just looking at Sean hyland motorsports and they have a "bigbore" rotating assembly for not to bad of a price and i was wondering do you see any gains from the big bore part? And can you still use your original block for that kit I know it needs to be bored ou quite abit but is it up to task?

I've looked into shortblocks for the future of my car, and sticking with the 4.6 I'm considering either the VT Shortblock, Foxlake, or MPH. They all seem pretty good.
