i got some lifter noise when i start up the car and it goes away for the most part after a couple seconds. i think i hear a slight tapping noise from the rockers. they may not be shimmed right. i am using a fram filter, that could be it but i don't know since i just put some mufflers on the car and this is the first time i can hear the motor. i am using 10w40 oil. i took a valve cover off and i cranked it up. i am getting a lot of oil flow at idle at the first 2 rockers but the rest are not getting as much but they are getting enough i think. when the car is hot i am getting 20 psi and it goes up to 50 when i rev and drive it. i think i am getting enough oil psi. could this be bad lifters or the fram oil filter.

Well, I'd ditch that Fram filter for sure before you do anything else. Throw a nice Motorcraft filter on there and be done with it. 
That pressure sounds about right, but I'm curious if maybe you went down to a 5w40 the oil would flow up to the top of the engine a bit quicker at startup (being thinner and all.)

If it`s only noisy for a couple seconds when you start the engine,(when it`s cold I`m assuming),it`s probably some lifters pumping up with oil.
When you shut the engine off,certain valve lifters bleed down from valve spring pressure.
Get rid of that pos Fram filter.They are the worst on the market.

i don't know where they are from, i got the car with the subframes already there. i was wondering why it had big humps through the back seat floorboards when i got it.
