I'm thinking of buying a Lightning somewhere between now and January. I was going to just pick up a cheap one around the years 99-02' but I've been hearing something about the sprak plug threads on these years. The 99-02' has less threads while the newer 03-04's has like 3-4 more. I've also read it will cost some extra money down the road if you have a 99-02' Lightning because of this. Now is this true and could someone explain it a little more?
