Lincoln 4.6 DOHC

Has anybody built up one of these lincoln DOHC's? They are alot easier to find than a legit cobra DOHC.

theyre the same as a cobra motor except for the intake cams, and intake manifold. the block is the same.

I have a SOHC 4.6 and I really don't know that much about the 90's DOHC's. Do you know if they are aluminum blocks? Do they have steel cranks and forged pistons?

they are the Teksid aluminum block. forged steel cranks, cast cracked rods and hyper pistons. the only mod motor to get forged pistons from the factory that i know of is the 03/04 cobra.

That's what I thought. The 03/04's probably only have all the good stuff because of the boost.

Will the intake and eaton supercharger from an 03/04 fit?

it should fit, however thats really not your best choice for a blower on a buildup.

PM DOHCfox. He put a Lincoln DOHC into his foxbody. And drove it to a meet so I think he knows what he's doing...

navi 5.4 is iron. es muy heavy.
