I have an opportunity to purchase an engine from a 98 Lincoln Mk VIII. My question is whether I can use the block and crank for a SOHC buildup. I think the block is aluminum but I am not sure. Is the crank forged or cast? Any input appreciated.
the block can be used for 2v you will just have to drill a coolant passage...very easy and noticable once you put the gasket on.
The crank is not a Forged unit like the Cobra...
Don't pay to much for it.
