Hey guys i got my line lock installed. I bled the brakes and when i hit the brakes and hold the button then let go of the brakes i go to do a burn out and the car just pushes along with resistance(front tires roll) but the regular breaks work real good. Could this be a pinched line somewhere? or a bad solenoid? Or could it be i have my M/T et streets on it and trying to do the burnout on the street with them. Let me know what you guys think.

perhaps you have a frozen caliper that isn't moving all the way. maybe pinched line. try putting more pressure on the brake before you engage the button. make sure there is no leaks at the line loc where the brake fluid can slowly bleed out so that it won't hold the brakes on. just a few ideas

theres no leak in the line lock, no pinched lines, and no frozen caliper check them out. Also i am really reafing down on the brakes and it wont hold. Im starting to think i have a bad solenoid.

Might want to check you have the right line running into the solenoid

well pumping the brakes doesn't work either. Was in the burnout box and it still wont hold. It just pushes the car. Im thinking it is because at an idle i only see about 10-12 on my gauge for vac because of my cam. So im thinking that could be a problem because are the brakes vacum assisted? So if i bring the revs up some then hit the brakes think that will work? checked all the lines and they are run right. Let me know what you guys think.

jack up the car and put the line locks on, then try to spin the front tires by hand... you might only be locking up one tire if the lines arent going to the right places.

did that both tires are locking i dont think im getting enough brake pressure because at an idle the pedal will go to the floor but while driving round it is very hard.

What brand is it? I had that issue with the B&M, actually 3 of them. Switched to a Hurst and never had another issue.

You are pushing the brake, then hitting the button right?

Yes i am hitting the brake then the button. I am using the hurst roll control. I talked to another girl at the track in a 2004 cobra and she was having the same problem with her hurst roll control. So i dont know if it is the solenoid or brake pressure problems because of the cam.

One simple thing you may want to check is that you are getting good 12v and more importantly a good ground for the unit. Dont assume that you are, check it.

If not, it sounds like it may be an issue with the roll control unit. I have the chepo, did the 3-2 conversion and it works very well.

This is what i do:
Push the brake down hard, push the linelock button, while still holding linelock, pump the brake another time. The valve in the linelock allow smore brake fluid to the front brakes and holds the pressure. Light 'em up and release.

Note: If I don't do this I also feel resistance but continue to roll forward....

I didn't even think to try that. Ill try that and see what happens. Also ill check for 12v at the solenoid.

do you think to that maybe because my clutch is junk it is doing more slipping then grabbing and causing the car to push?

doubtful, if the clutch was slipping that badly you would get less power to the wheels and the car wouldn't move foward so much (not to mention you would smell clutch... do you? )
