little problem with door

This just started but when I go to open my driver door, I will open it but I cannot pull it, I realised that when I open it and let off the handle it comes open fine, but when I open it, and keep the handle pushed open and try to pull it, I have to lift real hard for it to open, my door doesnt have much play, and the striker bolt has some serious groves in it. You guys think I should replace the bolt? Or is it something else? Thanks

Are your door hinge busings ok? Lift up on the whole door when its open, if there is play then you need a hinge pin/bushing kit.

...And you might want to replace the striker bushing, you can get them in the help isle at the parts stores.

The door is pretty heavy but when I give it a hard push up itll move up just a bit, but not really any play, is the striker bushing, the bolt on the inside of the body?

But like I said, when I just pop the door open and let off the handle the door opens fine, but when I keep the handle open is when the door wont come out, so that has me thinking it has something to do with the striker bolt, anyone know how to take that out?

The bushing is on the striker itself a T50 star socket will take the bolt and bushing off. Usually when the striker gets beat up thats a sign of worn hinge bushings... or the striker bolt is out of adjustment.
