Livewire Useless?

I assumed when i payed almost 600 bucks for this thing that i would be able to use it and really notice a difference in the car, So far all i can tell it has done is turn off the shift light.... none of the performance data "tools" want to work, no 0-60, 1/4 time, est. hp. what is wrong with this device?? i'm about ready to return or sell it and get another predator

no live a/f fuel monitoring? no live date while you're driving/racing? I looked at getting one, but kinda glad I didn't now.

it does all the live readouts just fine, I just haven't found it to be great as far as a "seat of the pants" tuner as of yet. i'll keep working with it though and see what i can come up with

go to http://www.sctflash.com/tsupdates.php and make sure all the software an firmware are up to date on the Livewire. then make sure you are dumping the correct tune into your car. if you put in the economy tune by accident, you obviously aren't going to go any faster. if need be, add a little more timing. you aren't going to get anymore power out of a Predator tuner than any other tuner, Livewire included. none of them have anything special that gives them an advantage over the other from a tuning standpoint.

as far as the 0-60. make sure to to follow the directions carefully. when i did it last, you had to wait for the Livewire to say go before making the run. it may have changed with the newer firmware.

as far as the HP & TQ estimates, make sure the weight of you and the car are accurately programmed into the Livewire.
