Location Of B-pillar Air Bag Safing Sensor Connector

I'm looking for the location of the connector for the air bag crash sensor in the B-pillar. FSM says left kick panel, but I'm not seeing it. It looks like a white cylindrical plug. From the dash, is it up or down?

Found it finally. On a '93 it is on the bottom of the fear fenderwell right behind driver seat behind interior panel.
