One step closer this weekend. Biggest thing left is the microsquirt to run it all. 351w stroker motor (427), new flywheel, clutch, driveshaft all mounted and locked in. Serpentine parts and rad to popped in this weekend. Need to figure out the hood....not sure the 3 inch cowl will work.

What motor mounts are you using? You may be able to get another inch or more by swapping.

I have about one pointer finger between the oil pan and K member. I currently have a 1 inch spacer on the intake to fit the fuel rails. Could most likely put the stock ones back on and drop an inch from there. The stock mounts were about and inch lower. I REALLY would hate to have to pull the entire motor to swap the mounts......but might have to. Its sticking up I pretty good amount.

I found myself in a similar situation once and ended up doing just that. LoL

I can't remember now which set of mounts I ended up putting in, it's been so long. Swapping fuel rails does sound easier. hehe

I think a 3/8 plenum spacer will work. I not I may need to swap rails but it looks like it will fit with the 3/8 and my 3 inch cowl.....close though.

I am going to swap plenum spacers and then fuel rails and hope that works. I'll drop the motor mounts 3/4 inch, which is all I have from oil pan to K member left.

From one inch spacer to 1/2 inch. Crazy difference. Going to try the 3/8 one which will be close to this height when bolted up.
