Hey guys, i can get a set of almost brand new BBK LT headers that are ceramic and 1 3/4 inch in size. And yes i'll have to buy a mid pipe as well. Right now i'm running BBK Shorty unequal ceramic headers. Is it worth the upgrade? My engine is pulled so nows the time to do it! Will i have any clearance issues? Canton 7 GT oil pan on it! Will it be any louder? or produce minimal hp gains?

the tone of the exhaust will change a lil deeper, and up top yes it will run out a little faster, get a good 3" o/r pipe.

Alright thanks homer. So pretty much besides the different sound quality. The hp gains are minimal at best?

With primaries that big you are going to lose bottom end and you might feel the gain up top. They are great if you have significant supporing mods and I would not go with a 3" mid pipe or primaries that large unless you are going boosted. Way too big for a mild n/a motor.

Stick with the BBK's you planned to order. The 1 3/4" will not make any power with your combination. Save your money

Thats what i thought, No i already have the BBK's(The shorties). I figured they would hurt low end torque and give me small gains up in the higher RPM's which doesn't do me any good ha. Thanks though guys
