Long tube headers on 96 Cobra , Tranny removal?

Hello all ! Is it true that the Hooker long tube headers are the only headers that allow for the tranny to be removed without removing/loosening the headers ? I have installed a set of Kooks on my Mark8 and that was quite involved (drop the k-member , etc.. ) . I know , another exhaust question , but This is the most important question I have seen asked about long tubes. I am also installing a S-Trim Vortech SC so I feel the long tubes are a must.
