long tube headers vs shorties, which is better?

I used to have that problem, then I installed some ARP header bolts...haven't had to tighten them up once since

Best $25 I ever spent. They came with special washers that were rounded on one side (rounded side away from headers). No worries about stripping the head either, they are *extremely* hard.

cool i think i will get some....I am tired of tightening and cannot stand the sound of an exhaust leak
