Flowtechs seem like a pretty good deal as long as the quality is good.

They are inexpensive, and let the tranny slide out. Pretty good right there.

Flowtech. Hookers and kooks(if I recall) also allow the trans to come out. I havent had any issues with the LT's yet.

I heard some good things about Hookers and Kooks.
The only issues I see people complaining after their L/T install
is oil consumption and their exhaust note gets louder of course.

I havent consumed enough oil to worry and yes my car is loud

I wont take it above 4500 on the streets because of that.

Mines loudest in the mid range gets quieter after 4500rpm go figure.

loved my long tubes on my 99 cobra, but when the trans went out, what a huge pain that was. ford dealership charged me almost $800 in labor to fix the trans under warrenty, just cause the long tubes added to the work they had to do.

off topic.......so if i get shortys it is easier to get the trans out right?....and what kind of x pipe will i be able to get with shortys

For me, shorties is a waste. The install is the same and you get 3-5 rwhp where as LT's have a 20 rwhp gain throughout the powerband. Muchg more noticable and worth it.
