long tubes and x pipe 99 gt

I just recently purchaced a set of Mac long tube headers and a basanni x pipe with gutted cats. Is the installation of these part hard? or should i get a proformance shop to do the install?thanks whtstanggt

the long tubes will kill you. x-pipe is easy, LT's take a lot of time and are a PITA. get someone knowlegeable to help you or have a shop do it. best bet is get a bunch of buddies that are handy with a wrench and know what they are doing, and pay them with beer and sandwiches.

I don't think the xpipe will mate to the "ball and socket" ends of the mac lts.

Before you start, get a shop to change the ends of the xpipe to match the macs.
