Long tubes??

Hi, I was considering long tubes on a 1999GT. Is it worth the $700. I have weld in mufflers, and some intake improvements to compliment the headers. Does sound or performance change any after install on the BBK for example. Any help is much appreciated!

they are worth it in my opinion. the sound does change some with them, mine actually seems a little more quiet at idle, but when i stand on it, it really wakes up. as for performance, i gained 18rwhp with just lt's, & a prochamber (w/stock catback) & that was on a mustang dyno (they read on the low side) on a dynojet dyno, it would have been 20+ rwhp if you can tackle the job yourself do it, you will save a lot of money that way. just drop the k-member when you do it, it's much easier that way
