This past September (and the one before that) I drove from Jupiter, FL to the Keys along with 190+ other Mustangs. Stop and Go traffic for about 1/2 the drive. I'd guess it's close to a 300 mile drive each way.

LOL NotQuik was there.

indeed! Add about 100 miles each way for myself Forgot about that. Is that bad my car was out of warranty the first year?

Put a little over 4500 miles on mine on a round tripper from Wichita, KS to Daytona Beach, FL... That includes all the miles driven in FL, too. About two weeks all together.

I've driven from the 'burbs north of Detroit to Long Island...stopping only for gas/lunch. About 12 hours and 750 miles one way. I pulled between 29-32 mpg at 70-75 mph with a 5-speed/3.55 gears.

I "hope" to drive in the summer of 2009 from Detroit to the Santa Monica Pier (and back) via Route 66. Last summer gas was $4.50/gallon, so it wasn't the best idea to go at that time. Round trip is roughly 5,000 miles. The drive will most likely be solo, and thousands of photos will be taken along the way.

I find the car to be pretty decent for long trips. A full-power seat would be awesome.

Any trips taken this year will be quite a bit louder as I now have a set of Roush mufflers on my car. As long as I go 70+ mph and stay away from 1750 rpm I should be fine...LOL.

Yep ,
I'm still deciding if the best were the 300 miles on autobahn with no speed limit or the long day at nurburgring roadracing on a 20 miles track in the middle of a forest...
Can't wait on doing it again ... if only the wifey lets me go again ... Iìll try to negotiate it for next summer

Farthest I've Driven in my S197 in one car ride , one way is about 50 miles.

Round Trip = 100 miles.

Otherwise its only driven locally.

YAWN.

During the summer, it's not uncommon for me to detail the car on a Saturday then go cruise around for 4 hours....100 miles or so, then go home.

Call me lame, but I'm a "driver."
