I was wondering what the longevity of aluminum heads are? I know an engine will last longer if not "hot rodded" a lot, but are the aluminum heads expected to live as long a life as cast iron? I only ask becasue I've deceided to make my FB a daily driver and sell my F-150 Harley Supercrew, and I'd like to put a little more getty up under the hood. I've been spoiled by a supercharger! Anyways, I have a set of AFR's on the way, and don't know if I should hold off on the aluminum heads if they aren't going to do as well for daily driving. Opinions?
Thanks.
Thanks.
