I'm trying to decide whether or not to do a PI headswap and longtubes or just a PI intake and cam swap. Will clearance be a issue on my '97 which is lowered about 1.5" if I install a set of longtubes? I already have trouble getting over a speed bump without scraping my x-pipe. How much worse will LT's make it if at all? Thanks.

You will definately be able to see you L/T's from outside the car when you look at it. I was told that I would have clearance problems if my car was lowered past 1". With the car as is, I was told to just go over speedbumps slowly, which I already due since my old 5.0 was pretty low to the ground. If I lowered it around an 1" I was told Ill have to really creep over them, but it is still managable. I plan on going with BBK's though, it could be different with other brands.

LT's shouldn't make a difference at all in clearance. I'd go for the PI headswap for sure
