That's like asking which is better...Coke or Pepsi. You're going to get a pretty even split with this one.

Hooker and Kooks seem to have the best rep. Not many have the SLP yet.

Mac would be at the bottom of my list and that's because I have them. I had the shop put on three different gaskets and it still tics in 5th under load. It prolly tics all the time, but I just can't hear it over the exhaust.

I started busted out laughing when I read "longtubs"... I don't even really know why.

Get SLP's but for no reason reason. I only keep hearing MAC issues.

My ceramic coated BBK's have treated me pretty fair... Havent had any exhaust leaks (Yet) but on the downside the ceramic coating has worn off under the car by the collectors and they now have some surface rust...

I've got Kooks for the record and they're top notch...but they're also considered a mid-length header, not a long tube. Which is actually a benefit when you consider the additional ground clearance.

....be prepared to pay through the nose though.

I love my SLP, and I had absolutely no problems with fitment. Just had to drop the k-member to get them installed. Wouldn't go with any other brand.

I have SLP for 6 months now, flawless fitment without haveing to dent like bbk's. great sound. hardest part of the install was getting the f---ing egr to hook back up.
I wouldn't do anything but SLP.
