Well i started to install my new 2" hooker long tubes the other day. I had to design some custom adapter plates for them to fit my heads but i just got those pieces back from the water jet the other day. I got the plates installed and started to try to get the headers in. Its like trying to stick a 6" pipe into a 2" hole..... This has to be one of the most difficult things i have done yet on this mustang. Where the firewall/floor, k-member, and bell housing all come together is such a tight spot to try and fit (4) 2" tubes through. Well after 2 full days of screwing around trying my hardest not to have to lift the motor out, we some how got it wedged through and the passenger side is in place. I will have to modify the trans cross-member because the collector is hitting it. I think the driver side should be a little bit easier, i think i might be able to go through the bottom and clear most of everything. I'm just waiting on some gaskets to arrive some summit and i should be ready to hit the track again. I also got my Dynamic Racing Mighty Mite C4 installed and its ready to go, went yesterday and picked up my new lengthen drive shaft for the new C4. Here are some pictures of the progress.
