gonna need a little more info, is that black on it soft, dry, and sooty like??? or another texture?

if it is, looks like u got some carbon deposits.. Did u gap them right?

heres some things that may be causing this:

-prolonged stop and go driving
-wrong heat range
-Rich air/fuel mix
-nasty air filter
-too much retard in the timing
-low compression

i would take out some more plug from different point around the motor and see how they look. Sometimes only a few can be like this b/c of cracked, bad plug wires, cracked distributor cap. So go pull some more and let us know. good luck

Anthony

I will pull another one from the other side of the block.
A little history....I bought this car as is back in Dec.
I have only put about 50 miles on it since then. A couple days ago I popped the dist cap off and the cap and rotor are completely shot. The car seems to be running fine, I am just looking to do some routine maintenance getting it ready for spring. So to answer your question about gapping them, I didnt put them in. They were put in at Springfield Motorsports when the car was dynotuned back in February. The black stuff on it is sooty, powdery like.
I will post more pics of the others that I pull.
Are these plugs good? Ever heard of them?
