Let us know how the install goes and how well it works. I'm looking at doing mine sometime this year; presently looking at Steeda, Pro 5.0 and of course MGW which is at the top of the list.

I am no expert, but when I do the install I will take lots of pictures. Unless somebody has already done a how-to?

All the parts are top notch in quality! MGW is to shifters as MM is to suspension!

You need a Cobra Bob shifter gasket to go with it

That is almost half the price. But from what I have read, it is well worth it to pay the extra for the MGW.

Honestly, you can't put a price on MGW products. If you compare the quality of the MGW shifter to ANY other shifter on the market, you'll instantly see the difference.

It's a very simple install, and there's been many that have done write ups. It's very straight forward.

I will be getting some MGW radiator, oil, and other caps. I don't know anyone else that would pay $39 for a solid billet radiator cap

http://www.stangnet.com/Tech-Articles/TopLine-Short-Throw-Shifter-Install.html

P.S. Love streetstang03 for his hard work on helping me find that article: http://www.stangette.com/community/showthread.php?t=120

EDIT: The only way I would have gotten anything else was if I got the deal that sicK got: $10 for a Steeda Tri-Ax!

Yes, this is what the RTV is for. RTV does a better job of sealing the holes, I would think.

Cobra Bob shifter gasket is better than RTV because it can be re-used over and over, because it reduces NVH, because it cannot drip into your fluid, and because it does not strongly adhere the shifter to the trans. And it only costs about $5

I used both the RTV and the gasket.
