Saturday afternoon, my buddy pulled up in this. He traded off his Yellos 94 Mustang GT Convertible for this Roush. Said he picked the 06 Roush in Tennessee and had the stripes and scoop added at the dealer. He said it had 3000 miles on it when he got it. Still smells new inside though. I know everyone has an opinion on the 05-06's, so I'll just post the pics and you all can have your own opinions.

That is just an awesome car. Your buddy is a lucky man for being able to own one.

I dont se how anybody can not like those cars. IMO, they provide the perfect balance of new technology with classic looks. Plus they drive awesome, its about time the GT went 300 hp factory.

I like the stock 05 look better.

He had cobras on the 94, so maybe that is why he went with those, not for sure. He said it has 18" wheels and he changed them to the 20". I would assume that the 18" were Roush wheels. The brake rotors look kinda small for such a big car, but I'm sure they will stop it.

The shifter area on the 05-06s with a manual ALWAYS bother me, every time I look in em. The knobs, how deep into the console, and their lack of length sticking out ALWAYS bother me for some reason.

After driving them I can say my opinion changed a lot. Although the car doesnt give you the feel as the older models did (remote shifter, no more clutch cable, new throttle system etc...) its still a very nice car. The shifter is much closer to you, which makes grabbing gears in a comfortable position good, but the console is very tall, and I just havent gotten used to it. Driving the car you do get used to the feel, and it is very tight, and nice.

Nice purchase, now get some shots of the whole car!

I am not a fan of the yellow on the car, but I personally like the Roush cars. Maybe because my local Ford dealer sells them? I like the rear end of the car better than the stock '05/6 cars. It looks more finished off.

Congrats to your friend

i hate yellow, and the signature on the seats look like someone was trying to get some mustard on their hotdog at 140mph, but i'm just hatin' cuz im jealous,
shoulda went with the steeda, i remember doing alot of research i think i came with the result that the steeda was the best for price and performance ( out of saleen, roush, steeda) but i still love the saleen, mmm, the seats, the rear bumper, mmmm

in the end, i want to be friends with your friend
