What you get is what you got. There is no CD or manual, your supposed to get it online.

Unless things have chainged in the 3 or so years since I got mine.

congrats...hellova deal if you got the R/T for that price...you hardly ever see them go below 500 used even for the R/T.

wow...tell me about those things is it permentanly put into your car?? and you hook your computer up to it.. and can do all your tuning through your laptop?? or can you hook it up to a bunch of cars and do tuning on them ??

it stays in the car...well as long as you want it/need it to. It holds/overwrites the factory tune so you remove it...you remove the tune. It is not VIN locked like a xcal or anything though so you can take it out for another car...just not 2+ cars at the same time.

Yes it connects to a laptop, datalogs (and few things do datalog and tune the 95 and older eecs), and gives you access to tune the eec.

wow sounds like a cool thing...can you tune it once its in???so if i did a tune and it wasnt quite right i could just hook the laptop up again and fix whatever..? or woulfd i have to take the comp. out and stuff...it sounds like a cool product

even if it cost 500 its a one time deal...better then changing one thing and having to get a dyno tune each time i think i might look into those things:nice:

Trav, take a read on Grady's site (I'm sure others have sites with info, but his is one of my favorites - Grady keeps it real simple for morons like me). Grady's info can give you a decent oversight as to how things work.

Dan, you got a smokin deal. I keep an eye on those and 400 beans for an RT is the best I've ever seen. Enjoy!

yea, you can change the tunes. Even better with the R/T model you can data log.

Nice find! If you ever feel like reselling it, I'll give you a cool 300 bucks!

:nice:

I wanna try one of those

i'm going to have to pass on that one but i'll keep you in mind :rlaugh:

right now i'm playing around with a J4J1 cobra tune. turning on the auto settings and tweaking for my combo. before i put it in i want to see how my stock tune is doing.

gotta find a cheap wideband first.
